Initial appointment: $250
Ongoing appointments of 45 minutes: $185
Other services, such as shorter or longer appointments (with prior agreement), written reports or longer telephone conversations are prorated accordingly.
I accept cash or check as payment at the time of the session.
I also accept insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield Indemnity, PPO, and HMO plans. If you have a different insurance policy, use their web site or check via phone to see if I am in network. If you have a plan with out of network benefits I will be glad to provide the paperwork needed to allow you to be reimbursed.
In most cases I charge my full fee for missed sessions or those cancelled with less than 24 business hours notice.
When seeking psychotherapy please check your insurance benefits to determine the following:
- your copayment or coinsurance
- your annual deductible and whether it has been met
- whether pre-authorization is necessary for your plan
- if there are limits to the coverage your insurance provides in mental health services
